Moonstone Mousery and Rescue
All of the creatures on my site, regardless of whether they are mine or rescues, are treated with love and respect. They become my babies and are raised to be healthy and friendly individuals. No aggressive animal will be adopted out and any new animal goes through a two week quarentine and assesment period before being put up for adoption. I really want them to go to good loving homes so there are a few stipulations. One is that a suitable sized cage is presented on adoption with a safe bedding material (see health section for dangers of ceder and pine shavings). There is also an adoption contract to be signed and a small adotpion fee. The fee is above what feeders go for and on the assumption that anyone wishing to adopt a friend for life would be more than willing to pay. It doesn't come close to covering the amount that I put into them but as I am doing this out of love for needy animals I do not mind. Adoption fee may be waived for elderly or problem animals.
